"The Curse"
Man has been created in God's likeness and image according to Genesis 1:26. In doing so He gives humanity an opportunity in making decisions for themselves by their own will. So it was with angels! Once angels rebelled against God, their expulsion from Heaven was immediate and unforgivable. Hence, angels cannot repent and be forgiven, it is their eternal fate of damnation. Mercy is unattainable. But with humanity, in the state of Original Justice, God issued a command with its consequence. God did not have to explain himself, He is God. Two trees were presented with its fruit, the tree of knowledge and the tree of life. Satan (the serpent) had to divert their attention from the tree of life to the tree of knowledge. Death would be the tragic consequence of their disobedience in partaking of it. God, knowing man's eventual fall, makes a provision whereby mercy would triumph over judgment. Because we have an adversary (Satan and his angels) God sends His Son Jesus Christ to take upon Himself our sins. So, what is the gospel of modern society in contrast to the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
In Deuteronomy 30:15, God gives His Chosen People a choice, the option of exercising their free-will. "Here, then, I have today set before you life and prosperity, death and doom. If you obey the commandments of the Lord, your God, which I enjoin on you today, loving Him, and walking in his ways, and keeping his commandments, statutes and decrees, you will live and grow numerous, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land you are entering to occupy. If, however, you turn away your hearts and will not listen, but are led astray and adore and serve other gods, I tell you now that you will certainly perish." Continuing, "I call heaven and earth today to witness against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse."
In modern society, common sense is a superpower! God makes two genders, male and female. Society recognizes more than two. Yet, in spite of society, DNA shows male or female, not who you think you are or even with sex altering procedures. It is the 10 Commandments not the 10 suggestions. We look upon society and witness the transformation of our historical biblical institutions into fodder for Hell's fire. "You cannot serve two masters, you will love one and hate the other. You cannot serve both God and money!" For all this madness, follow the money. Politicians who claim to be Christian as well as Judges, Teachers, Ministers of the Gospel, Doctors as well as Blue Collar have abandoned sanity to insanity and immorality. Remember, King Saul preferred the praises of man rather than the approval of God.
St. Paul admonishes the Galatians in 1:6-10: "I am amazed that you are so soon deserting Him who called you in accord with His gracious design in Christ and are going over to another gospel. But there is no other. Some who wish to alter the gospel of Christ must have confused you. For even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel not in accord with the one we delivered to you, let a curse be upon him!" Paul then again issues his warning of a curse upon them. We should realize the warning of Jesus. "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man!" (Mt 24:37) Let's be realistic and not live in fantasy! You either take the Bible as God's Word or not. Many are re-interpreting as much as they do our Constitution to fit their distorted and evil ideologies. Criminals have more rights than victims; a human fetus is not a human being but an animal fetus is; riots and violence with destruction is liberty but a peaceful protest outside an abortion clinic is crime; parents have no right to oversee their children's education, very little consequence to shoplifter, burglars, even violent assaults. If you embrace a different political party's platform, you make yourself a target of godless journalists and media.
Free speech is now, "Rules for thee but not for me!" The gospel of corruption: power, greed, selfishness, sloth, lies, deception, and manipulation is now the norm of America. Many may deny God, the existence of Hell and Satan, the belief that God created you the way you are and justify your choices, and actually quote Scripture and go to a church. It is all in vain as you have chosen death with the gospel of modern society. Yet there is hope. In order to be forgiven you must call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, confess your sins and be convinced it is sin. Don't delay. Death may come at any moment, then repentance will not be accessible!
